“God have mi back!”
It was during the 1980’s when gifted Jamaican reggae artist George Wright, now affectionately known as Brotha George, burst onto the scene with the reggae and dancehall hit “Secret Admirer”. Adorned with Wright’s classic vocals, which evoked memories of many of the great Jamaican rocksteady artists of the past, the song rocketed to the top of the charts. Today, Brotha George has eight albums under his portfolio and his musical career is strongly based in his faith in God. Many of his gospel songs, such as “Solid Rock”, “Most High God Transition”, “Heaven Bounded” and “I’m Healed” have found both commercial and critical acclaim.
